Snape is a lovely, hidden little village just outside Bedale, beside Thorpe Perrow Arboretum. The castle in the distance was the one time home of Catherine Parr, Henry VIII's surviving wife. Other paintings of Snape: 'Snape Past and Present', 'Snape Rush Hour' and 'Snape Spring'.
