This is a view near the top end of Wensleydale. Characteristic of the Dales are the drystone walls, barns and sheep and I like the way the gaps in the walls help lead the eye across the lush meadows. I also like the way the high hill in the background seems to be almost slowly drifting across, rather like a humbacked whale!
