I avoided painitng this scene of Helmsley for a number of years simply because it's photographed and painted by everyone - or so it seemed.  But, of course, that's because it is so attractive.  I particularly like the textures within the painting and, I'm pleased to say, it has sold very well. I've learnt a lesson!
