This is a view from the grounds of Duncombe Park looking over the castle at Helmsley with the walled garden in the mid-distance; it's a view often missed by visitors who stay in town.  It appealed to me for being such a lovely, pastoral setting. Probably an image which many would say is characterisitically English.
