This was a commission for a client and, at 5' x 3', the largest painting I have done so far! I loved the challenge and was very pleased to know that it was well received.

Commissioning artwork always comes with an element of nervousness but having seen Mike's earlier works we were confident & trusting that he would create what we had hoped for. His creation far exceeds our expectations: the depth & detail of his work is incredibly special. He has interpreted our brief impeccably, depicting this most cherished part of Yorkshire for us, & given the size of the painting, provided us with a far broader scope. We know it will give us much enjoyment for many years to come & we are ever thankful for the introduction to Mike via our interior designer Sophie Mackay-Lewis of SVML.
