Mike Brown Art

This is a view of upper Swaledale, one of my favourite Yorkshire Dales. Apart from the attraction of the barns and dry stone walls the scene appealed to me because of the play of light on the hillsides and the valley floor. It always seems to me that the walls and building of the Dales are of the earth and thereby fit so comfortably in the landscape.
